Reiki Natural™ is a trademark of Aromatherapy Now LLC dba Mount Olympus Wellness, founded by Maria Quezada. Maria developed the Reiki Natural™ handmade holistic skin and body care line. She is a leading aromatherapist, Reiki Master, skin care therapist, instructor, and writer.
About Maria
Maria Quezada (formerly Hernandez) has over 20 years of experience as an aromatherapy practitioner. Maria is also a licensed esthetician, Reiki Master, and holistic life coach. She is a self-published author and has written an aromatherapy trilogy entitled Finding Infinity: Vol. 1: An Easy Aromatherapy Guide to Blending Essential Oils; Vol. 2.: An Easy Aromatherapy Guide to Natural Skincare; and Vol. 3: An Easy Guide to Aroma-Reiki. Maria has also self-published three children's books, Reina and the Whale, The Miracle Dance, and The Wise Woman of Mykonos. These books are now available at www.lulu.com.
She founded Aromatherapy Now LLC, a California Limited Liability Company, dba Mount Olympus Wellness, in 1996. In 2009, she established, Reiki the Way, dedicated to enhancing public awareness of the proven stress-reduction benefits of Reiki, an energy therapy. Maria has an array of experience in the wellness industry and simultaneously works in the legal field where she worked as a law office administrator for five years and currently works as a legal secretary. Ms. Quezada has been very active in the legal community. Maria was President of the National Association for Legal Professionals, Orange County Chapter (NALS of OC), from 2003 to 2004. She served on the Board of NALS of OC as the Director of Advertising, from 2001 to 2010. Ms. Quezada has written many articles on health and beauty for NALS of OC's online newsletter entitled Legalities.
She attended the University of California, Irvine, and obtained certification in Human Resources Management in 1990. Thereafter, for five years, she was featured as a guest lecturer in the Paralegal Certificate Program at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California, teaching interviewing and communication skills.
In 1999, she received specialized phyto-aromatherapy training in Provence, France, at the Orto de Provenco Aromatherapy Retreat Center in Aurel, under the direction of world-renowned Master Aromatherapist, Dr. Malte Hozzel, founder of The Aromatherapist USA. Maria is a member of the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA). She has done volunteer work for many worthwhile organizations, including the Corazon de Vida Foundation, in Irvine, California.
She regularly presents workshops not only on aromatherapy, but also on natural skin care, Reiki energy therapy, personal development, and meditation. Maria incorporates aromatherapy into all of her holistic practices. She has developed several aromatherapy skin care lines, including aroma-now, White Gold Frankincense, and Reiki Natural™.
Her primary passion is teaching, and she loves to travel. Maria has traveled to the Caribbean, the Bahamas, Egypt, Peru, Iceland, Alaska, many countries in Europe including Great Britain, Greece, Italy, France, Sweden, Switzerland, Austria, and many parts of Mexico. Maria's philosophy is "After all is said and done, what truly matters is the love we give." She believes that aromatherapy and Reiki are ways to give unconditionally of our love and light.
